Description

Jason Steyn is a Post Modern artist based in Cape Town, South Africa.

His oil on canvas paintings are inspired by the meeting of the wilderness of Africa and the contemporary artistic accomplishments of Europe. Where these two worlds have intersected over the last half a century, some exceptional art has been created.

Growing up in Africa and at the same time being exposed to the musical and artistic talents of classical and contemporary Europe has resulted in shaping my world view to combine elements of both the above mentioned fields.
